From Bükkzsérc we start from the event area.
At first we take an agricultural road on the outskirts of Bükkzsérc, then we climb under the Pató rocks along the bed of the Szorgos stream all the way up to the Török road. From the road, in clear weather, you can see the Bél stone, the Őr stone and a good part of the other 900m peaks.

Turn right at the junction before Noszvaj, heading towards Felsőtárkány, from where you will continue downhill. We will rest at the lake of the Rock Spring and then start to climb up towards the Castle Hill, slowly at first, then steeply. On the way back along the ridge, you will come across the Kövesdi lookout, where you will also take a short break.

On the way back, it's downhill again, and in just over an hour we're back at the Event Square.
